In the vanilla game, most exterior zones have a maximum zoom-out distance (called Camera Mult) of 1.2, while interior zones are set to 1. Increased 'Active Distance' (draw distance for enemies) for interior zones to match that of exteriors, to go along with the increased view distance.
There is a 20% increase in the maximum zoom-out distance for all interior zones throughout the game, giving better visibility in dungeons. Your character's increased Health and Armor will revert back to normal if you stop using this mod.
This does not undermine the value of Dodge/Block/Reflect, or the almighty Limoany and Riechliu Skulls, but players like myself who prefer more balanced character stats will enjoy a modest increase in survivability. Vitality provides twice the health bonus compared to the vanilla game.Ī character with 500 Vitality will have about 60% higher armor values and 1800 more health than he/she would in vanilla TL2. A comprehensive selection of Torchlight 2 creatures, to be found (and murdered) in their natural habitats. Custom spawn classes for each level, with monsters that make sense together, thematically. Abysm floors are, on average, smaller than regular Mapworks dungeon floors, and more densely populated. Level 100 characters will also find level 125 Abysm Maps for sale. The dungeon starts at your current character level, and increases by 1 level per floor. Abysm is a bottomless dungeon, with 20 level variations occurring in random order. The Abysm Map is sold by Compass the Map Seller, and used like any other Mapworks Map.
Mapworks torchlight 2 mod#
This mod will not bind to your character. This mod includes a simple balance adjustment to the Vitality stat, an increased view distance for interior locations, and one item: The Abysm Map. Abysm is a mod designed to enhance Torchlight II without radically changing game mechanics.
